Funhouse has the innovative trap door assembly, a very satisfying shot to make, a ramp feeding the left flipper for a loop shot, a big ramp for doing skill & awards shots on the left (The STEPS ramp, with a very unique design as the ball bounces down the steps collecting the awards offered), Mystery shot scoop hole, 2 ball plungers/shooters as opposed to regular 1 on every other machine, and much more. It's also has a great attract mode light show sweeps.

Funhouse pinball in attract mode with excellent "sweep style" light shows. Our buddy Rudy, the creepy talking dollhead is curiously watching all the action from the back. He is usualy asleep during attract mode. (File Size: 10.1 Mb)		Rudy is yakking a jabbering while the trap door is being hit. Trap door is also a very tough and satisfying to hit jackpot shot while in multiball and it opens and closes throughout the normal course of the game giving awards. (File Size: 10.1 Mb)		Once 2 balls are locked, Rudy "goes to sleep". He also snores loudly when taking a nap! In order for multiball to begin, you have to shoot 3rd ball in his mouth, he then wakes up, eyes wide open and spits the ball out in disgust. Great effect! (File Size: 10.1 Mb)
Rudy going through a battery of tests to make sure everything is working right. Although one of the most beloved toys in all of pinballdom he needs to work right otherwise the whole game appeal is diminished. His eyebrows, his jaws and his eyes all have to work in perfect unison to have a total game experience. (File Size: 10.1 Mb)		Match sequence after the last pinball is lost - Game Over, buddy. If the second number matches the first, knocker announces loudly that extra game is won. If the game is not won, Rudy says "Hey Bucko, play another one". If nothing happens for a few seconds, he shuts his eyes and waits in attract mode till START button is pressed again. (File Size: 10.1 Mb)		Skill-shot into the Steps ramp that awards whatever "step" the player reached. It is called "skill-shot" because it's up to the player skill level to determine with what strength to pull the shooter plunger with the pinball in the shooter lane. Smacking Rudy repeadely in the jaws. He doesn't like it at all, he talks back at you and is progressively getting angrier and more pissed with you while you smack his across the lips. He's also kinda skilled at "Guilt Trip Psychology" and whines - "I thought we were pals..." (File Size: 10.1 Mb)		Our buddy Rudy sometimes gets hungry being alive inside the Funhouse and all and that's where the SUPERDOG hotdog sequence comes in. Every time a player scores Super Dog targets, Rudy likes it and says "Yum, yum". There is one huge Hot Dog insert on the playfield with 3 targets.
